Seir Kieran

Seir Kieran, located in Clareen, is historically significant due to its monastery founded by St Ciaran in the fifth century. It features remnants of an Anglo-Norman motte, an Augustinian priory with a medieval turret, and a thirteenth-century church window. The local feast of St Kieran is celebrated on March 5th.
