John Stephens
John Stephens, born in 1833 in Lusmagh, Ireland, served as a Captain in the Confederate Army. He married Annie Fitzgerald and had seven children, including daughter Belle, who married Eugene Mitchell. Stephens is the grandfather of author Margaret Mitchell, known for “Gone With The Wind.” He passed away in 1896.
